I like the thing happening between 02:25-02:28 with the voice on the right side morphing with the on going chord. What kept me going was the cool rhythm and dissonance in the composition.

SleepyPoundcake responds:

Thank you. Glad this could keep you interested enough to even write this.

The dissonance is pretty much part of an idea in-world, with things that don't quite belong trying to adapt into its new environment somehow, a little nod at the characters themselves, and it sounded good lol

fun song!!

ChaosHarry13 responds:

Yes very funny ! 🙌

I like this. The strutter from the (guessing) Gross beat is a little to harsh at moments according to me but great job none the less!

Meuny responds:

I didn't use gross beat tho. It is all done raw.

With some reverb to simulate a room and a more traily reverb on the rimshot it would be awsome.
The outro on the drums would be more jazzy if it just played lower and lower until it just "tippy toed" but my guess is that u use Directwave or FPC and it might not have all the samples needed.

Aito136 responds:

Yeah, it's just FPC. But thanks~ I'll keep that in mind

Cool!

Like the placement of the instruments and the composition a lot :)

u take 45 min to make an excellent track and I take 100h to make a weird mess xD

baryiscool responds:

Ooh thanks dude
i do rush my tracks abit sometimes
but for real songs i take about 8-16 hours

I like the wind instrument and the harmony but the drums aint my thing in this. I think It might be better with just a kick pulse and a stick with reverb or something.

Still cool, good work!

Drop17 responds:

Yeah I can definitely see that.

Love it!

LeonRiskin responds:

Thank you!

Heavy. Nice resolution on the sound as well.

LexRodent responds:

Thanks for listening.

you need to explore EQ more. Take a eq on only one instrument and make a SHELF. Use that while looking at the display on the limiter on the master. Make sure you have a flat volume hitting the grid and you have a at least a "volumely good mix". (in terms of audiophile).

You have good resolution in your sound, but you need to work more on your dynamics or leave the master without a limiter.

The composition I would say is an midi-file? ... Idk, If you made this score you're self I would be deeply impressed just by that.

Tungsten09 responds:

Hey, thanks for the feedback. By EQ im assuming you mean Equalizer? I'll have to look into that whole SHELF thing. I just kinda jumped into FL Studio and tried some stuff so there were bound to be things like these I wouldn't know about, so thanks for bringing it to my attention.

I'll also have to look up what exactly a limiter is, since I actually don't really know.

Also the composition was done using the piano roll feature. I just recreated the original melody by ear and put bass and all the other stuff on top in a way that I thought sounded good.

I mostly do these Remixes for myself but I think by uploading them here I can maybe learn more about music in general and, perhaps someone will like it.

Making some shitty music!
